Bookish and Sweet Reads

I love to read. It's always been my solace, and though the themes and covers may have changed, the excitement of immersing myself in the pages of a book has never diminished! So here's the chance to get into my thoughts and rambles; my loves and misses; and meet the books that make me soar :)

Bad Things (Tristan & Danika, #1)
R.K. Lilley
Walking Disaster
Jamie McGuire
The Iliad of Homer - Homer, Richard Lattimore, Richard Martin Only had to read parts of it, but I tried to compliment by reading summaries of the parts I had to skip. The poem deifinetly exceeded my expectations. The story combined with the politics between humans themselves and the gods plus the constant interferance of "fate" proved to be a stimulating read. My only complaint would be that some segments got repetitive and the instances were names were listed in battle were long and unnecesary. Even so, I can totally understand why this is a classic and I'm glad I go to read this, even if it was for a class.
